loving this four day week.
when my alarm went off this morning, I was already up and I wasn’t angry about it.
On the agenda for today:
getting paid to shop
lunch duty
camp planning
after care/leaving early but still getting paid until 6
kinda feel like I wasted a really cute outfit on...
I subbed and all I did was do OT with some kids and watch recess.
I was really hoping that this guy that used to work with me who I’ve kind of been seeing would stop in.
Needless to say, he did not.
Also needless to say, this outfit will be making a non-washed repeat if I go out this week.
I’m going camping for the first time in my life this weekend. While I’m currently pondering if it’s inappropriate to bring my stuff in a Vera bag and trying to figure out exactly what I need to bring, I am looking forward to
sleeping in a tent with three of my best friends

I am about to embark on the biggest change/journey of my life… leaving behind Michigan and everything I’ve ever known and moving to South Carolina to be a teacher.

I had a phone interview today with a school in South Carolina.
The woman who is my contact person has used a smiley face in every e-mail she has sent me… I just feel like that’s not very professional.
But, at the very least, it’s cheerful. :)

reasons I am [mentally/emotionally] still in...
Literally every time this one boy texts me, I do a happy dance. One time I squealed and kicked my legs around under the covers.
It takes me about ten minutes to decide the appropriate emoticon to put in a text message to aforementioned boy. “Is it to suggestive if I put a winky face?” “Is the tongue-sticky-outy face too suggestive for this text message?”...

I’m currently subbing right now. My students are at a special (Technology. We didn’t have technology when I was in 4th grade. We had an hour a week at the computer lab where we usually typed papers or played mavis beacon… but that’s another post) and another teacher is teaching social studies in my classroom. I’m sitting at my the teacher’s desk, wasting time on my laptop.

eating healthy 2.0
as of yesterday, I’m eating healthy/working out/whatever again. (minus the 1000 pretzels I just ate.)

My dad has, for some reason, finally gotten a fire under his butt to get us out of our current phone plan (with Verizon) and to a different service (most likely Sprint).
