the corruption of today’s youth
I’m currently subbing right now. My students are at a special (Technology. We didn’t have technology when I was in 4th grade. We had an hour a week at the computer lab where we usually typed papers or played mavis beacon… but that’s another post) and another teacher is teaching social studies in my classroom. I’m sitting at my the teacher’s desk, wasting time on my laptop.
The teacher is teaching about the “real” thanksgiving, and all the students just look so upset that the Pilgrims and the Native Americans weren’t really friends.
Today is also pajama/crazy hair/hat day and there is a student in a princess costume and one dressed up like Michael Jackson. Welcome to my workplace.
